A family priest we have known very long time recommended to our family to go to Leverton & Sons and have Lorna help us. From the start to finish, Lorna aided and assisted us. She was helpful and looked after us and my mother from the viewing to the funeral arrangements to the cremation. Her dignified approach supported us in these tough times and made it all very comfortable. She was with us every step of the way. My family thanks her for truly doing her best to allow my mother a peaceful departure that didn't allow us to strain my wife and I much.

Leverton’s support their clients very well from preparing for the funeral to the event itself. A pre-existing funeral plan laid the groundwork, but cannot anticipate everything …not least Mum had died outside London and Kathryn then guided us with considerable sensitivity through the practical options from collecting her, to service options, flowers, visiting the chapel of rest etc. Despite the additional challenges they faced and the extra anxieties for us as we neared Xmas, preparing for an early Jan funeral, Kathryn kept us calm and made us feel we were in safe hands. We were. The funeral went perfectly to plan…the entire team’s composure was well-judged and in keeping with the professional but still warm service you receive from everyone at Leverton’s. They organised my Dad’s funeral nearly two decades ago and their standards remain as impeccable as they were then. Thank you so much to you all for helping us to make Mum’s last “occasion” just the best it could be.

The service was as I wished. Thank you so much for your assistance and guidance and your understanding from the outset back in October. I was very grateful for the presence of yourself and the chapel attendant, in running through the service beforehand. Please extend my thanks to everyone involved, the transfer of the coffin to the chapel was very dignified, something that Bill would have been very pleased with indeed. So, thank you, Lorna, to you and your colleagues. Know always that the vocation you have chosen matters, it makes a difference to have someone walking beside you at this point in the journey.

Levertons were very responsive to all the questions that we had. Katherine, the director always responded to telephone calls and emails promptly and efficiently. She also tried to find the most effective solutions to issues as they arose and calmly led us through the whole process. Her sensitivity and appreciation of our position was much appreciated.
