It is your choice as to what you have at a funeral. The only necessary items are the removal, a coffin and the committal.

All of the above information can be emailed or given to you in paper format on request from any branch.
Our professional attention throughout the arrangements, including local removal of deceased in office hours, use of private mortuary and viewing in Chapel of Rest, care of the deceased, administration, bearers and funeral director’s attendance

Local removal of deceased in office hours, administration, a simple coffin, transportation to a crematorium of our choice
on a day and at a time of our choosing, all necessary staff, crematorium fees and the medical cremation certificate fees if applicable. There will be no funeral service and no attendance.
Although there is no service, we can arrange for you to attend the committal.

Charges for local removal out of hours, including night time, weekends & bank holidays
Our professional attention throughout the arrangements, including local in-hours removal, use of Chapel of Rest and administration for repatriation.
Temporary preservation for overseas travel. For repatriation by air, there is a legal requirement for the deceased to be embalmed.
For transport beyond the UK and Ireland: a basic zinc-lined hermetically sealed solid wood coffin is required
Time permitting, a hermetically sealed zinc lining can be added to most of our coffins in our range for an additional charge. Airlines require the deceased to be transported in a hermetically (airtight) sealed coffin (excludes Ireland and within the UK).

The relatively sudden death of my best friend who was 48 years old was one of the hardest things to bear. Levingtons made arranging his funeral so easy, the staff felt like friend who listened and understood with no pressures I’d like to thank pippa and Michael for bringing comfort at such an awlful time. Levertons dealt with the funeral of our dear aunt with respect and tenderness. Kathryn at the Hampstead branch was very helpful and personable and explained the process and was considerate of our wishes. She communicated regularly and was there on the day to assist and reassure.
