Lorna began working as a Funeral Director with Levertons in January 2020, supporting all of our branches and now manages the Kentish Town branch. She has a degree in history and is a qualified teacher, but has 20 years’ experience in customer-focussed roles, management, and administration. Lorna enjoys the variety within her job, because all families and all funerals are different, and appreciates being able to help people at a time when it is needed most.
In her spare time, she reads, walks, volunteers with two national charities, loves the theatre, and is always keen find something new and unusual to do in and around London.
Leverton's handled the funeral with care and compassion and with a professionalism over and above my expectations. My only (small) criticism would be that communication post funeral was unclear (as in the arrangements for the collection of ashes). I was not aware that the ashes would be available for collection the following day and therefore was waiting on a call (either from Levertons or from the crematorium admin office). A week post funeral, I called Leverton's to be informed they were ready for collection (and had been from the next day).
