Glenn joined Levertons in July 2022 to support the Directors with a Strategic review focussed on organisational and people management improvements.
An engineer by background, Glenn has spent the last 20 years working with many organisations of various sizes, structures and in many industry sectors, including another Independent Family Funeral Director. His main focus has been on their people and business management processes and systems and working closely with the Investors in People framework.
He was introduced to Pippa and Andrew by Levertons Investors in People assessor, who had recommended engaging some specialist support to help them design and implement some development and improvements in the HR aspects of the business.
Since joining Levertons, he has carried out one-to-one reviews across all areas of the company. All the feedback will form the basis of the strategic review with the senior management. The reviews objective is to identify improvements in communication, engagement, business efficiencies and people management.
In his spare time, he is actively involved in the development of non-league football, increasing enthusiastic about playing ‘walking football’, has volunteered as trustee/governor with various educational organisations and being with his ever-expanding and globally spread family.
We had previously used Leverton's for my parents-in-law funerals a few years back. So when my dad passed away recently it was only natural to go to Leverton's once again. Lorna at the Kentish Town branch was lovely and extremely helpful. She made it all very easy for myself and daughter to make all the arrangements. We ordered flowers through them as well and the flowers were beautiful, it was just so much easier to go through one person for all that. Everything went very smoothly, everyone was very attentive and extremely helpful. They also found us a lovely celebrant to preside over the ceremony. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My husband had always hoped to be looked after by Levertons; in that, as in so much else, he exercised very good judgement! We were given helpful guidance in planning the funeral, and very considerate and attentive support on the day.

During a time that was extremely difficult for the whole family, Levertons were able to take away all the stress we had with arranging the funeral. Everything asked was received and our loved one was given the best send off he could have had. Lorna in particular was brilliant and everyone who conducted the funeral on the day were faultless. I would 100% recommend their services and couldn’t be more thankful.

Leverton was recommended by a friend, whom I can't thank enough for the introduction. Having to make contact with a funeral director is probably one of the most difficult things you ever have to do for a loved one. Leverton - and particularly Drew and Mark - made the situation bearable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very professional team, Lorna at the Kentish Town branch was great, really kind and thoughtful. Never felt pressured to go for any extras. The organisation was excellent and everything ran without a glitch. I highly recommend the black horses, they really add an air of elegance and dignity and surprisingly good value! Absolutely beautiful.
