Our professional attention throughout the arrangements, including local removal of deceased in office hours, use of private mortuary and viewing in Chapel of Rest, care of the deceased, administration, bearers and funeral director’s attendance (in hours) at the funeral.

Temporary preservation for overseas travel. For repatriation by air, there is a legal requirement for the deceased to be embalmed.
For transport beyond the UK and Ireland: a basic zinc-lined hermetically sealed solid wood coffin is required
Time permitting, a hermetically sealed zinc lining can be added to most of our coffins in our range for an additional charge. Airlines require the deceased to be transported in a hermetically (airtight) sealed coffin (excludes Ireland and within the UK).
Deborah Rush at Levertons was simply superb. She handled my grief in an empathetic but not cloying manner . Deborah’s attention to every detail was impressive. Further , after a brief description of what qualities I wanted in a celebrant , Deborah chose an excellent one , Ruby Warnock. All my guests at the cremation commented on how well everything had gone.

I had never arranged a funeral before and when my brother died I made a leap of faith and chose Leverton & Sons as the funeral directors. I could not have chosen better. From the moment I spoke to Andrew Leverton I knew I was in kind and careful hands. Throughout the process from the collection of my brother from the hospital to the final service I felt supported and guided. Andrew Leverton was always available to speak to me on the phone and gave me thoughtful advice on the contents of the service, the choice of crematorium and recommended an excellent celebrant.
