The Code of Practice by the National Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF).
SAIF was established in 1989 to set professional standards for the industry and provide a code of practice to protect the interests of the bereaved. SAIF has also acted to support independent funeral directors in the UK in the face of takeover attempts by national and multinational companies.
The Leverton family were instrumental in the founding of this organisation as we believe that a sense of community and interest in personal service over profit are key to our profession.
