Tony’s early career was as a butcher; he worked for a company in Eversholt Street for 16 years. Having frequently seen funerals departing from our Head Office, also in Eversholt Street, he realised it was an industry in which he was greatly interested. He joined Levertons in 1993 as a funeral assistant, and progressed within the company.
Tony is now Branch Manager at our Chalk Farm premises, having been our Deputy Foreman and Senior Hearse Driver. Tony enjoys the daily variety of his role, from the logistical and organisational challenge of our onsite operations, to being present as a driver at funerals, and working as a part of a team to ensure the wishes of all families are met.
From the planning of the service to the day of the funeral itself, Levertons displayed empathy and professionalism in all regards. I would unhesitatingly recommend Levertons for sensitive and supportive work that goes the extra mile and is intensely human in its advice and understanding.

Levertons took care of my dad’s funeral arrangements recently. They literally took care of everything & everyone. Special mention must go to Julie Avery who was the funeral director who looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble for Julie. She went above & beyond to help us sort the perfect funeral for my wonderful dad & in a relatively short space of time.
